The third meeting of “Policy (Draft) on the Use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) as a Degradable Fuel in Industries (Draft), 2024” held on March 19, 2024 at Hydrocarbon Unit, 153, Pioneer Road, Segun Bagicha, Dhaka. Mr. Md. Shamim Khan, Director General, (Joint Secretary), Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Presided over the Meeting. He requested the various stakeholders to send their views in written form within a week for the final preparation of the draft and said that in the next fourth meeting, the “Policy on Use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) as a Degenerate Fuel in Industries (Draft), 2024” will be finalized. Engineer Razeeb Haider and Mr. Azizur R Chowdhury, Director BTMA were present in the said meeting and delivered their valuable speech on the proper preparation of the draft.Mr. Alauddin Al Azad, Engineer, Hydrocarbon Unit Department, read out the draft of “Policy on Use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) as a Degenerate Fuel in Industries (Draft), 2024”. In the Meeting, various stakeholders expressed their views on the draft.
