Environmental Resources Management (ERM), Japan organized a workshop titled “Data Collection Survey on Protection of Vulnerable Workers in Response to the COVID-19 Crisis” a project financed by the Japan international Cooperation Agency (JICA) on November 8, 2021, at BRAC Center Dhaka. Key Stakeholders from different UN Agencies, Development Partners, Ministries under the Government of Bangladesh, Trade Unions, NGOs, Business Associations and Private Companies attended the workshop and the ERM Japan and the survey team members also joined the workshop virtually from Japan. Engr. Estahak Ahmed Shaikat, Member of the Board of Director’s of BTMA also participated in the Workshop wherein he stated the role of BTMA to protect the interest & the overall security of the workers/employees of BTMA member mills during Covid-19 crisis.
